Sunday, July 4th-
12:30 pm: Wheels Parade Kids
Show your patriotism by decorating your bikes, trikes, wagons and strollers! Meet in the front of the laundry by 12:20. we will circle the campground and end up in the D-field.
Prizes will be awarded.
2:30 pm: Ice Cream Wagon
Be on the lookout for the old fashioned ice cream wagon. This is even better than the original, though, because the ice cream is on us!!
Saturday, July 3rd & Sunday, July 4th
Check out the calendar of events from the Bar Harbor Chamber of Commerce to learn of the exciting festivals, parades, and fireworks in Bar Harbor. Extended shuttle bus service is available for all of the festivities.
Please be aware that the Parade, Pancake Breakfast, Seafood Festival is being held on Saturday July 3rd. and the Band Concert and Fireworks are being held on Sunday, July 4th.
Saturday, August 7th: Tenth Annual Family Olympics
Tenth Annual Family Olympics at Hadley's Point. The Olympics have made the first weekend of August a favorite at Hadley's Point for participating families. Every member of your family can help you win events to become the champions. These fun contests require only a little skill, but lots of good humor!
Thursday, August 19th - Saturday, August 21st: Hadley's Point- Acadia Amazing Race
Pick up your clue packet in the office for our fourth Acadia Amazing Race, exclusively for our campers. We'll be ready for your sleuthing again this year with an entirely new set of clues. Anytime between Thursday morning and Saturday afternoon, you and a car full of your favorite fellow adventurers can set out on an ultimate race to solve puzzles and problems that will bring you to various landmarks around Mount Desert Island. Bring back the answers to all of the clues and you could win a great prize package from Hadley's Point. The winning team will be revealed during a campfire party on Saturday at 8:00 pm.
Every summer we host a bit of local and regional musical talent. As dates are scheduled, we will post them here.
